Ervaringen

Ervaring van Moniek

Inmiddels ben ik ruim 2 jaar geleden geopereerd aan mijn zweethanden en oksels. Ik heb vanaf baby af aan veel last gehad van overmatig transpireren bij mijn handen, voeten en oksels en daarom leek deze operatie mij een goede behandeling. Ik ben eerst in contact gekomen met dr. Klinkenberg en ben erg goed geholpen door Froukje. De dag van de operatie werd ik goed opgevangen in Delfzijl. Ik voelde geen spanning voor de operatie, hier had ik juist heel veel zin in. Na de operatie merkte ik vrijwel direct dat mijn handen en oksels droog aanvoelden. Continu vroeg ik aan mijn familieleden of ze wilden voelen of het wel écht droog was. De dagen erna had ik erge druk op mijn borst en na een aantal dagen kreeg ik de zogenoemde zweetaanval. Wat betreft de operatie waarvoor ik kwam is het erg geslaagd, maar helaas heb ik veel last van compensatiezweet op mijn rug, benen en af en toe mijn hoofd. Hiervoor gebruik ik oxybutinine, wat soms merkbaar helpt. Hoewel dit vooral zomers vervelend is of met het betreden van uitgaansgelegenheden waarbij de airco niet goed is, heb ik nooit spijt gehad van de operatie. Ik hoop dat op een dag het compensatie zweten toch minder wordt.
